Any pc whether its a Mac or Windows can have whatsapp application on it.
Update 2017: Now its become very easy to get whatsapp for pc, just go to Whatsapp.com and they have a PC or Mac version of whatsapp there download directly and enjoy whatapp on your computer.
To be able to download whatsapp for pc, you have to install a small application on your pc which can run mobile applications called Bluestacks. The basic idea is having a program which works like a mobile phone on the pc. Follow the steps below and you will be good to go for all the mobile phone applications. Imagine playing Tom the Cat, Fruit ninja and lots of other mobile apps on pc.
1. Download Bluestacks from here make sure that you download the windows version if you are using windows and the mac version if you are using Mac. Run the Program, the installation will take a few minutes.
2. Register Google play with your google account, if you don’t have a google account Register with google its free.
3. Go to Google play and download Whatsapp application, it installs on its own after downloading.
4. To verify your whatapps put in your local mobile number and ask for verification. You will recieve a SMS from whatsapp with a 6 digit verification code. Put this code and click verify. You will be asked to set a username.
Along with whatsapp for pc you will have lots of fun with the other great applications available for mobile phone on your computer.
How to add Contacts on Whatsapp?
To add contacts to Whatsapp we have to make sure that all the numbers in the Address book have the “+” followed by the country code and the mobile code of that country followed by the number. The people who already are on whatsapp will show “Available” tag below or next to their names on Whatsapp.
